Pollard Middle School
2007 Summer
Reading Lists

This summer, all students are encouraged to make the effort to read as much as possible. Turn off the television, and enter the world of a good book. Books are portable, so you can read anywhere: on the beach, in the car, safely tucked into the corner of a window seat as the soft summer rain pours down outside, in a sleeping bag under the stars in the backyard. When books and reading are a part of your vacation, you will be in for a magical summer experience!

The Summer Reading Committee has chosen high interest books about a variety of topics and themes that are appropriate and appealing for middle school-aged students. These books are suitable for a wide range of reading levels and preferences. We have given great thought, research, and a lengthy amount of discussion to the selections. We hope you like the books as much as we do.

All Pollard Middle School students are asked to read over the summer, from the appropriate grade level list. Each grade level has specific instructions as to how many books should be read and how students shall be held accountable for their summer reading require-ments. Please consult the appropriate grade level list to see what your tasks are.
