2022's Contest Theme:
Reset, Recharge, Reimagine in the Library

Contest Timeline 

  • February 9th: All Pollard entries due by the end of the day. 

    • Pollard judges will select a winner.  

    • The Pollard winner's bookmark will be sent to the state level.

  • Online voting will take place in March.  Once the date is known, it will be posted here and announced.  


  • Start early! Sketch and draft a few ideas before settling on your final idea.  

  • Judges will consider both artistic merit and depiction of the contest theme.  The theme is very important!   

  •  Look at Division IV (grades 7-12) past winners to get inspired.   2019  2020

  • Remember that all work must be original.  You can't copy and paste or hand trace images you find online, and you can't use licensed characters from books, movies, TV shows, comics, etc.

  • Visit the Pollard library or see the contest website for more information and entry forms.
